Our extra sharp Aged White Cheddar is always a favorite cheddar lovers.  And Although the same piquant as any Aged Golden (orange) Cheddar, the sharpness has a bit sweeter finish.  A definite "must try" for any cheddar lover!

Cheddar becomes sharper with age.  This Cheddar has a strong bite when compared to its younger counterparts.  The crystallization within indicates that it has been appropriately aged, and is a curious texture.  Most lovers of extra sharp Cheddar prefer to eat it as an accompaniment to crackers or in a bite size piece at the side of their salad or dinner plate.

Medium Cheddar is nutty and firm.  The medium aging makes it the cheddar flavor most common in overall use in the U.S.  It provides a firmness and crumble particular to the cheddar family, but has only a moderate sharpness to it making it a favorite for any sandwich, on crackers or melted over other favorite dishes.

For you horseradish lovers, here it is in a mild cheddar.  Not over-powering, but distinctly the bite and flavor of the finest grown horseradish.
