The cheese curd flavor is mild with about the same firmness as any cheddar, but has a springy or rubbery texture. Fresh curds squeak against the teeth when bitten into, which some would say is their defining characteristic. Cheese curds are sometimes referred to as "Squeaky cheese." They are sometimes somewhat salty. Our Fancy variety are usually yellow or orange in color, like most American cheddar cheese.

Dill is a great seasoning accompianment to crackers and snack breads.  These curds have the taste of dill, but not overwhelming. 

This fresh curd has the traditional flavors of onion and garlic.  Always a favorite, you can't go wrong with it on any appetizer plate or as a side with a meal from the grill.

This fresh curd has the added flavor of salsa.  A big favorite, it accompanies many types of dishes as a side or with a plate of tortilla chips.  They have the spice, but not the heat you find with the hot peppers.
