Burnett Dairy is now accepting applications for a PM Cheesemaker. The Cheesemaker operates equipment used in the production of pasta filata style cheese including; vats, pasteurizers, and lab equipment. Steady standing, lifting, and stretching is required. Must be able to work as part of a team in a changing work environment. Perform equipment sanitation before startup and after processing to meet Federal, State, and Company requirements. Monitor the process of introducing starter into the vat, startup milk pasteurization systems, monitor cream separator ensuring proper fat to the vats, standardize and pasteurize milk to company specifications. Maintain accurate records of cheese making process to include pasteurization charts and ingredient and product trace ability. Follow cheese making procedure to meet product and customer specifications.
PM hours shifts required Monday-Thursday 10pm-8am.
Certification/License: • Must be willing to obtain Wisconsin Cheesemaker and Wisconsin Pasteurizer license
Burnett Dairy Cooperative is currently recruiting for the role of Production Supervisor. The right candidate for this position will be highly motivated, have demonstrated excellent leadership skills, and have a supervisory background. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the safety, health, quality, productivity, and performance of a specific department. This position’s main responsibilities include production performance and giving employee direction. The Production Supervisor spends most of the time on the production floor, engaged with the team and having thorough knowledge of departmental operations. The role of the Production Supervisor may include total supervision of people on multiple shifts, processes, and products being produced and/or packaged. Part Time Cheese Store and Bistro Workers
Burnett Dairy Cooperative is currently hiring part-time Cheese Store and Bistro workers. The right person for these positions is prompt, efficient, courteous, and above all has excellent customer service skills. Job duties include, but are not limited to: cashiering, stocking shelves and coolers, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, and helping customers with their transactions. To be qualified for this position, a person must be comfortable using a computer, be able to collect money and make change, be comfortable working with food products, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This job requires constant standing, infrequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, pleasant work environment. Similar clerk experience preferred.
Schedule: Part-Time; days, evenings, and weekends with hours ranging from 7:45am-7:30pm.
Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking to add a Full-Time member to it's maintenance team. This position performs maintenance for the cheese factory buildings, equipment, and some grounds work. Employees are required to perform welding, electrical, fabricating, and mechanical duties. Must be reliable and able to troubleshoot and work independently in a fast-paced working environment. This is for a 3rd shift Maintenance Engineer. Hours will vary, may include holidays, and weekends. The right person for this position has strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and takes initiative to get things done. Experience in welding, electrical, fabrication, or mechanical troubleshooting is required, experience in all is preferred.
