Recipe Description
Take your appetizer game to the next level with these elegant Smoked Salmon & Black Truffle Crostini. Featuring Wood River Creamery Black Truffle Cheddar Gruyere Cheese Spread, they’re an irresistible bite for any occasion!
Ingredients
1 Baguette
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
7oz (1 container) of Wood River Creamery Cheddar Gruyere Black Truffle Cheese Spread
Fresh Arugula
Smoked Salmon
Pepper to top (preferably freshly cracked peppercorns)
Optional: 4 oz Cream Cheese whipped into Cheese Spread
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 450°F.
Slice your baguette into even slices (about ½” thick) and brush each side with olive oil.
Place brushed slices onto a baking sheet and bake for 6-9 minutes until toasted (no need to flip during cooking). Allow to cool for about 5 minutes.
Spread an even layer of Wood River Creamery Black Truffle Cheddar Gruyere Cheese Spread over the crostini. Then place 3-5 arugula leaves on top of the cheese layer (removing any extra long stems). Top each crostini with smoked salmon and a crack of fresh pepper and enjoy!
